Once classified as a passage tomb, Newgrange is now understood as an ancient temple with profound astrological and ceremonial significance. This design, adapted from those Neolithic carvings by craftsman John McHenry, translates the triple spiral into a polished sterling silver disc with a beaded border echoing the decorative stonework of the site.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMATERIALS \u0026amp; CRAFTSMANSHIP\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nHandcrafted in .925 sterling silver at Walker Metalsmiths in Andover, NY. Original design by our craftsman John McHenry, cast using the \u003ca href=\"\/blogs\/celticjewelry\/8568723-lost-wax-casting-process\"\u003elost wax method\u003c\/a\u003e from a master model hand-fabricated in wire and sheet. Pendant measures 1 1\/16\" (27mm) tall by 7\/8\" (22mm) wide. Matching drop earrings on French wire hooks measure 13\/16\" (20mm) tall by 11\/16\" (17mm) wide.
